Re: Justice Lane Property Sale

The property to be sold includes the lot and improvements located at 18115 Justice Lane and the adjoining residential lot, further described as:

a. Parcel B consisting of Lot Number 1E and Lot Number 1F (including a vacant structure previously used as administrative offices), located at 18115 Justice Lane in the City of Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, including 0.2590 acres, more or less. Minimum bid for Parcel B is $112,000.00.

The purchase price must be payable all cash. No one tendering a bid may withdraw that bid for a period of 30 days after July 29, 2010. The School District reserves the right to reject all bids, give notice, and call for additional bids. Sale of the above parcels is subject to approval by the School District’s Board of Trustees.

An Earnest Money Contract must be on such terms as are acceptable to Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District. Any sales contract or deed shall include the provision that this property is being sold “AS IS, WHERE IS, AND WITH ALL FAULTS.” A Special Warranty Deed from Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District must contain restrictive covenants as required by United States of America v. State of Texas, et al., Civil Action No. 5281, D.C., Eastern District of Texas, Tyler Division.
