For any taxable purchases, if you are claiming purchases for resale OR if you are tax exempt, please include the appropriate tax form with your payment. The resale and exemption forms can be found on our website by clicking on the Help Menu and then "Forms". All previously submitted resale or exemption forms are kept with individual auctions so you must send a new form with each payment. We will not refund sales tax paid after a paid receipt has been issued so please ensure that your resale or exemption certificates are properly completed and submitted with your payment. Any requests for refund of sales tax after the sale is completed will be issued a Form 00-985 Assignment of Right to Refund in lieu of a refund of sales tax paid. There will be no exceptions to this policy. Any items taxed with a TERP sales tax includes the 1.5% State of Texas TERP surcharge.
REMOVAL: BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, same-day request may not be honored. Please contact Christy Browne at (979) 864-1464 to schedule your removal appointment. Brazoria County MUST be in possession of bidders Paid Receipt BEFORE an appointment can be scheduled. Appointments can be scheduled same day Paid Receipt is received by the County. If payment was mailed, please take into consideration lead time for Rene Bates to receive payment and process. This may prevent bidders from scheduling an appointment on the same day payment was mailed. Bidders who arrive prior to the allotted times below, may expect wait delays. THERE ARE NO PICK UPS SCHEDULED FOR 12 PM TO 1 PM MONDAY THRU FRIDAY, SATURDAY OR SUNDAY, AS WELL AS ON COUNTY AND NATIONAL HOLIDAYS. Bidders who have not FULLY removed their lot(s) by 4:00 PM, will be asked to leave and will need to reschedule. There will be no pick-ups prior to the times shown below - THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED. Brazoria County DOES NOT ship or provide transportation or loading services for buyers to remove their merchandise. Bidder is responsible for bringing all tools, trailers, materials, supplies and man-power necessary to remove Lots in a timely manner. Please note: Some items may be wrapped and palatalized, and/or VERY HEAVY. Seller offers ZERO assistance.

All lots purchased must be removed by Friday, March 17, 2017. After this date, a storage fee of $25.00 per day, per Lot, will be charged to the buyer for any lots that have not been removed.
If you are sending a third party person, transportation service or movers to pick up any purchased lot, Bidder must email Brazoria County an Authorization of Release Click here... to review the Authorization of Release). Letter of authorization MUST be received 1 (business) day before pick-up. Include the following information in the letter of authorization:
Name of the bidder (Must match name on Paid Receipt), signed and dated
List of the lots to be picked up.
Front and back copy of bidder’s driver’s license.
Name/contact information of the third party person.
Advise Brazoria County to mail the title or release title to third party (See “REGARDING PAPERWORK” section for additional information).
"Third Party" MUST have a valid Driver’s License/ Official ID or they will not be allowed to take any items. Bidder is responsible for informing third party person or transport company of the pick-up schedule mentioned above.

REGARDING PAPERWORK: Bidders will receive a copy of the original title and 130-U Application for Texas Title and/or Registration. Title(s) will be transferred to the successful buyer's name ONLY. If title needs to be issued to a Company (i.e. Dealership), notification needs to be emailed to Brazoria County of the correct name.
If titles are to be mailed (via USPS Certified Mail), Bidder is responsible for providing the correct mailing address. If no information is provided, Brazoria County will mail title to the address listed on the paid receipt.
If titles are to be provided to the third party, Bidder shall notify Brazoria County that they are requesting title to be released to their third party.
In purchasing these items, to the extent authorized by the Constitution and laws of the State of Texas, buyer shall indemnify and hold Brazoria County harmless against any and all claims, demands, damages, liabilities and costs incurred by buyer which directly or indirectly result from, or arise in connection with, any negligent act or omission of Brazoria County, its agents, or employees, pertaining to its activities and obligations under this Agreement.
Unclaimed items: For any items not removed by the final removal day, and a consistent good faith effort is not made to retrieve them the ownership of the merchandise will revert back to the Seller, to dispose of or re-sell the item at their discretion. A refund will NOT be provided back to the Bidder. In addition, storage fees (described above) can be imposed for up to 30 days. Failure to remove bidder’s items or comply with any of the listed terms can result in a delay in the release of bidder’s items and/or Rene Bates account being locked.
