* All final questions must be submitted the day before the auction closes by 8:30 AM.

* It is strongly recommended that you inspect the items in person. All items are sold AS IS - WHERE IS AND WITH ALL FAULTS AND DEFECTS THEREIN.
* The City is giving six business days for removal after auction closure.

IMPORTANT PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS:
All payments for this auction must be received no later than 3:00 p.m., Friday, March 31, 2017.

All payments totaling over $10,000.00 MUST be paid with a single cashier’s check or via wire transfer. (The wire transfer fee will be waived. You will need to contact our office for wire transfer instructions.)

If you want to pay in person you may visit our branch located at 2414 W. University, Ste. 122-A, McKinney, Texas 75071 between the hours of 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

PLEASE INCLUDE A COPY OF YOUR INVOICE WITH YOUR PAYMENT. If we do not receive payment by the due date, your account will be temporarily deactivated pending receipt of payment.

For any taxable purchases, if you are claiming purchases for resale OR if you are tax exempt, please include the appropriate tax form with your payment. The resale and exemption forms can be found on our website by clicking on the Help Menu and then "Forms". All previously submitted resale or exemption forms are kept with individual auctions so you must send a new form with each payment. We will not refund sales tax paid after a paid receipt has been issued so please ensure that your resale or exemption certificates are properly completed and submitted with your payment. Any requests for refund of sales tax after the sale is completed will be issued a Form 00-985 Assignment of Right to Refund in lieu of a refund of sales tax paid. There will be no exceptions to this policy. Any items taxed with a TERP sales tax includes the 1.5% State of Texas TERP surcharge.

REMOVAL: All items must be removed within 6 (six) business days after the date and time that the item is sold. Removals will be conducted Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. ALL ITEMS MUST BE LOADED AND REMOVED FROM THE PROPERTY BY 3:00 PM ON APRIL 4TH - NO EXCEPTIONS. Regarding any vehicles that remain on the auction lot after April 4th, buyers will be charged a storage fee of $25.00 per day/per item (including weekends). Storage fees must be paid before the vehicle can be released to the buyer. Storage fees are to be paid at the Accounting Dept., 1625 13th St., Lubbock, Texas 79457. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal and any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website. Under no circumstances will City of Lubbock assume responsibility for packing, loading or shipping of any vehicles.

NO ASSISTANCE will be available at the time of item removal.

NO REFUNDS.

IN ORDER TO REMOVE ITEMS THE BUYER OR THE TRANSPORT COMPANY MUST HAVE A COPY OF THE PAID RECEIPT TO PICK UP ITEMS!.

IF THE BUYER IS UNABLE TO REMOVE THEIR MERCHANDISE ON OR BEFORE APRIL 4, 2017, THE BUYER MUST CONTACT THE CITY OF LUBBOCK PRIOR TO THE 6TH DAY TO MAKE ALTERNATE ARRANGEMENTS BUT THE BUYER WILL STILL BE RESPONSIBLE AND WILL BE CHARGED A $25.00 PER DAY/PER LOT STORAGE FEE (INCLUDING WEEKENDS) AFTER THE FINAL REMOVAL DAY OF APRIL 4, 2017. THIS FEE WILL BE COLLECTED FROM THE BUYER AT THE TIME OF PICK UP. IF THE BUYER DOES NOT NOTIFY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK AND REQUEST AN EXTENSION FOR ANY ITEMS NOT REMOVED BY THE FINAL REMOVAL DAY, APRIL 4, 2017, THE OWNERSHIP OF THE MERCHANDISE WILL REVERT BACK TO THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS AND THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS MAY DISPOSE OF OR RE-SELL THE ITEM AT THEIR DISCRETION.

YOU MUST HAVE A COPY OF THE PAID RECEIPT TO PICK UP ITEMS! If you are sending a third party person “transportation service or movers” to pick up the items you must notify the City of Lubbock at colauction@mylubbock.us 3 business days prior to scheduled pick up. The Buyer will be responsible for giving the City of Lubbock the following information so that we may verify pick up: Name/Company of the third party person, MUST have a copy of the PAID receipt/Confirmation, and a valid Driver's License or they will not be allowed to take any items.

REGARDING PAPERWORK: The titles and paperwork will be available when you come to remove your auction item(s). If you have any questions regarding title paperwork please e-mail colauction@mylubbock.us
Title(s) will be transferred to successful bidder's name only.

City decals and logos, unit numbers, license plates, fuel rings, emergency light bars, radios, and electrical equipment have been removed from vehicles/equipment. Vehicles may contain holes: holes on the roof, doors, trunks, and any other parts that had any kind of equipment screwed/unscrewed which includes the interior of vehicles. The interior may have screws/holes on the floor, dashboard or on any other area where the equipment was located. Please be advised that the condition of the vehicle may change do to the weather conditions, rain, hail damage, etc. Do expect wear & tear on vehicle/item. The City of Lubbock is NOT responsible for any damage on the vehicle/item before or after the auction is complete, even when the vehicle/item has been paid off. The City of Lubbock will NOT be responsible for any damages.

The Seller DOES NOT provide transportation or loading services for buyers to remove their merchandise. Any and all methods of lifting, towing, and hauling, as well as all other methods or requirements for the removal and transport of the materials, equipment and/or vehicles, is the sole responsibility of the buyer. The ownership of any and all items not removed by the final day of removal will revert back to the Seller and they may re-sell or dispose of the property as they see fit.
