IMPORTANT PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS:
All payments for this auction must be received no later than 3:00 p.m., Thursday, September 28, 2017.

Payment should be sent overnight payable to Rene' Bates Auctioneers, Inc. in the form of a cashier's check or money order to:

All payments totaling over $10,000.00 MUST be paid with a single cashier’s check or via wire transfer. (The wire transfer fee will be waived. You will need to contact our office for wire transfer instructions.)

If you want to pay in person you may visit our branch located at 2414 W. University, Ste. 122-A, McKinney, Texas 75071 between the hours of 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

PLEASE INCLUDE A COPY OF YOUR INVOICE WITH YOUR PAYMENT. If we do not receive payment by the due date, your account will be temporarily deactivated pending receipt of payment.

ALL BIDDERS WILL BE CHARGED APPLICABLE SALES TAX. IF YOU ARE A NON-RESIDENT DEALER (THIS MEANS YOU ARE NOT LOCATED IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA) YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE AND SIGN AN "EVIDENCE OF AUTHORITY TO BUSINESS" STATEMENT WHICH WILL BE PRINTED ON YOUR INVOICE. YOU WILL NEED TO SIGN & RETURN YOUR INVOICE ALONG WITH EVIDENCE OF AUTHORITY TO DO BUSINESS IN YOUR HOME STATE. The most common form Evidence of Authority to do business is a copy of your sales tax registration number or occupational license number. Please note that the company name listed on the Evidence of Authority must match your registered bidder name.

REMOVAL: All items must be removed by October 6 from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM (10 business days from the auction close date - No Saturday or Sunday removal). IF YOU CANNOT REMOVE AUCTION ITEMS WITHIN 10 BUSINESS DAYS FROM THE AUCTION CLOSE DATE PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THE AUCTION ITEMS. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS OR EXTENSIONS TO THE REMOVAL DATE. After the final day for removal a $25.00 per day, per item will be charged to the buyer for any items that have not yet been removed. YOU MUST HAVE A COPY OF THE PAID RECEIPT TO PICK UP ITEMS.

FOR PICKING UP VEHICLES: Closed daily from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM and vehicles cannot be picked up during these times.

THIRD PARTY REMOVAL: If you are the successful highest/winning bidder and wish to have a transport company or third party pick up the item, please follow the following steps:

1. From the email address that is registered in your Rene Bates profile please send an email to onlineauctionqa@fortlauderdale.gov in which you attach a clear copy of your driver's license or State ID.

2. On the email, please type the full description of the vehicle to include the identifying numbers as they appear on the title of the auction.

3. On the email, please also advise the specific name of the transport company or person picking up on your behalf, and state that you "authorize this person to pick up the paperwork and vehicle on your behalf".

4. On the email, please state the name and address that you want the vehicle title put into.

REGARDING PAPERWORK: Please contact onlineauctionqa@fortlauderdale.gov to receive your title paperwork. Title(s) will be transferred to the successful buyer's name ONLY.

The Seller DOES NOT provide transportation or loading services for buyers to remove their merchandise. Any and all methods of lifting, towing, and hauling, as well as all other methods or requirements for the removal and transport of the materials, equipment and/or vehicles, is the sole responsibility of the buyer. The ownership of any and all items not removed by the final day of removal will revert back to the Seller and they may re-sell or dispose of the property as they see fit.
